Axle Logistics’ owners were looking for a new space to accommodate their expanding business. Jon Clay and Drew Johnson engaged Joe Petre to help them find a unique location off of Central Avenue. They mentioned that they wanted vibrant and amazing AV to wow their clients and employees, and we had a blast working with them to accomplish these goals.
Joe brought us in early to learn Jon and Drew’s vision for what their space could be. We immediately went to work to implement that vision, coordinating with Design Innovation Architects and their engineers to ensure that all the conduits and rough openings were accounted for. We also worked closely with Denark Construction, the contractor, attending subcontractor meetings to help ensure no delays from our end.
The two video walls are comprised of nine 55-inch televisions, creating a wow factor for clients and employees as they enter the building. It and the rest of Axle’s AV system can be easily controlled using an iPad or computer on their wireless network. The AV system works using the Crestron NVX system and Crestron control, providing any video source to any display.
Televisions in the call center provide up-to-the-minute statistics and headline news for employees. We also created our own hybrid sound system which can supply sound masking during work hours and act as an entertainment system during events for employees and clients. For audio, we installed QSC pendant speakers throughout the building with Biamp audio processing equipment and amplifiers.
Axle’s six small conference rooms each have a Samsung display with Logitech or Crestron soundbars. We included ceiling microphones, speakers, and a separate Logitech camera for the large conference room to accommodate the size of the space.
The gym AV system consisted of four 65″ Samsung displays, six QSC pendant speakers and two 12″ Fulcrum subwoofers. A local Crestron 10″ touch panel is in the gym to control audio source, speaker volume and tv channels.
